Climate Capital

COMMUNITY

Climate Capital aims to share the benefit of its global connections with investors, corporates, government and thought-leaders.  The way we achieve this is via Community – a wiki environment.

Climate Capital Community exists to educate, match needs and capabilities and provide a fast way of connecting with people involved in the quest to rebalance humanity and nature.

Climate Capital Community operates from a position of respect and mutuality. Membership of the Climate Capital Community does not cost anything.  However, it is hoped that members adopt a “give and you shall receive” attitude to membership.

Whilst Community is a social network, it does not exist in an environment such as Facebook – it is a somewhat more exclusive domain!

One of Community’s early initiatives is the creation of Climate Champions in schools around Australia.  Working with the state education departments and the Department of Climate Change, Climate Capital and the Climate Champions aim to deliver meaningful educational material on the critical steps that Australians must take to rebalance humanity and nature.

This material is developed and edited by Climate Capital Community members in a wiki environment.

It’s a wiki world! Share your ideas with us.  Climate Capital has an “open source” philosophy with respect to intellectual property.  We have seen many wiki/open source models succeed financially and believe that containing and constraining the IP around climate change and sustainability will only serve to perpetuate the problems humanity has created.
